Soiree Snazzy Bag - Lila Tueller

Lila Tueller, designer for Moda, has a great new bag on her blog made from her latest fabric collection, Soiree. This "Snazzy Bag" is made from a Moda Honey Bun, which is 40 strips of fabric which measure 1 1/2" X 44" each. Lila is going to be giving away her pattern for this bag for a limited time, here.

We got the chance to meet Lila Tueller at Quilt Market in Houston (pictured here with her talented niece Chelsea Anderson of Pink Fig Patterns). We picked up some of Lila's patterns, which we carry on our site, along with her Moda collection Woodland Bloom in the Shop By Designer category on our web site. How Lila handles being a mother of seven, a grandmother (really?), designing fabric and patterns while also owning a paint your own pottery studio is simply amazing. You rock, Lila!
